Past-Client Win-Back Pack · Example Output

The client who already knows your work.

Sofia Marchetti, independent brand designer, is writing back to Hazelwood Ceramics — the studio whose online shop she rebuilt and launched in April 2026. The project ended warmly, then went quiet. The autumn collection is the honest reason to write now.

Last project: the online shop rebuild, launched April 2026. Last words: Elena's thank-you in July, and "let's talk again before the autumn collection." This sequence keeps that promise — nothing more.

Triage first: why Hazelwood, and who waits

Three past clients were scored. Only one earned a sequence this month. The rest stay on the list with a reason, not in an inbox.

The sequence: four touches, four different angles

Touch 1 · Day 0 · Thu 5 Nov

The check-in

One specific memory, one reason to write now, no ask beyond a reply. Permission to ignore it, stated plainly.

Touch 2 · Day 4 · Mon 9 Nov

The value drop

One useful observation about the shop, usable on Monday without talking to Sofia. Still no pitch.

Touch 3 · Day 11 · Mon 16 Nov

The soft ask

Now, and only now: a 20-minute call, two concrete times, and a plain statement of what it is not.

Touch 4 · Day 18 · Mon 23 Nov

The graceful close

Shorter than the rest. Thanks, the file closes for now, and one easy way back — no guilt, no countdown.

Subject: Your autumn collection  ·  To: Elena Hart, Hazelwood Ceramics

Hi Elena,

It's been a while since the shop rebuild went live in April — I still think about how the glaze colours finally photographed true on the new product pages.

You said back in July that we should talk again before the autumn collection, and it launches next week, so I'm keeping that promise rather than letting it slide.

No need to reply if the timing is wrong. I just wanted you to hear from me before the launch, not after it.

Warmly,
Sofia

Subject: One thing I noticed on the shop  ·  To: Elena Hart, Hazelwood Ceramics

Hi Elena,

One small thing I spotted while looking at the shop this week: the autumn collection sits two clicks from the home page, and the home page still leads with the summer bestsellers.

Moving the collection into the home banner for launch week would put it where first-time visitors land, without changing anything else. Worth a five-minute swap if you have someone on the site this week.

Use it however helps — no strings attached.

Subject: 20 minutes before the launch?  ·  To: Elena Hart, Hazelwood Ceramics

Hi Elena,

If a second pair of eyes would help before the collection goes live, I have 20 minutes on Tuesday 17 November at 10:00 or Thursday 19 November at 10:00 for a quick look at the launch pages.

It's a call, not a redesign — a short list of anything I'd fix before launch, yours to keep either way.

If neither time works, or the timing is wrong, just say so and I'll close the file for now.

Subject: Closing the file for now  ·  To: Elena Hart, Hazelwood Ceramics

Hi Elena,

Thanks again for the shop project — I'll close the file on this for now, so you won't hear from me about it again.

If the collection launch ever needs a second pair of eyes, you know where I am. Wishing the launch well.

Sofia

If Elena replies, Sofia already knows what to do

The reply plan was decided before touch one went out — pick an outcome to see the next step.

Warm reply → confirm within one working day

Thank Elena, confirm the 20-minute call and its time, and add nothing else. One yes earns one next step, not a menu of offers.
